Water swallows light colors one by one as you go deeper. Red disappears first, at around 5 metres, then orange and yellow. Your camera still records the scene, but without red everything shifts towards blue and green. That is physics, not your camera. The fix is to rebalance the channels afterwards, which is exactly what this tool does.

The tool reads your photo, measures how starved the red channel is, then shifts part of the green and blue energy back into red and stretches each color channel to full range. It is the same idea used by paid dive apps. Everything runs in your browser, and open blue water is protected so it stays blue instead of turning pink.
